This is also Hamilton’s first victory this season and it helps the Mercedes team maintain their unbeaten record in the 2014 season. At the previous race in Melbourne (Australia), while Rosberg won, the British star

The 29-year-old racer led all 56 laps at Sepang with a completion time of 1 hour 40 minutes 25.974 seconds and was more than 17 seconds ahead of the runner-up.

After the race, Hamilton said he would dedicate this victory at Sepang to the 239 victims of the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 three weeks ago.

In contrast to the rainy afternoon at the qualifying round, Sunday afternoon’s race took place in very favorable dry weather conditions.

Hamilton soon outstripped his opponents from the early stages of the race.

After a favorable start, Hamilton easily escaped the group’s pursuit after teammate Rosberg’s W05 gradually fell behind when the rear tire had problems in the high temperatures at Sepang.

The policy of competing relatively cautiously to save fuel made the race quite boring without many fierce duels taking place.

Red Bull technicians pulled Ricciaro’s car back to the pit to correct the error.

Losing too much time and having a technical problem with the front wing caused Ricciardo to abandon the race with only 6 laps left to finish.

Ricciardo had to give up, making the competition for 4th place exciting in the final rounds.

In the following group, Jenson Button and Magnussen brought 10 points to McLaren when they finished 6th and 9th respectively. Meanwhile, Williams also got 10 points when their two drivers finished 7th and 8th.
