This is one of the solutions proposed by Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, at the meeting of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Hanoi on the evening of January 28.

The City Party Secretary affirmed that the outbreak of new outbreaks in some provinces and cities had been predicted in advance by the city and solutions were provided to achieve the dual goal – both preventing the epidemic and regaining economic growth momentum.

Mr. Hue said that `as long as the relevant units proactively respond quickly and drastically, plus the experience of overcoming the pandemic three times before, we will be able to control it.`

Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue spoke at the meeting of the Steering Committee for epidemic prevention and control of Hanoi on the afternoon of January 28.

The city Party Secretary also requested relevant units to coordinate and share information with provinces and people to proactively prevent the epidemic.

Chairman of the City People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh said that he had drafted a telegram, raising the level of epidemic prevention higher than usual.

According to Director of the Hanoi Department of Health Nguyen Khac Hien, by the late afternoon of January 28, the city had identified 50 cases related to cases in Hai Duong and Quang Ninh, including 23 F1.

Forecasting the upcoming situation, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health Hoang Duc Hanh said that there will be cases in hospitals, because when people are sick, cough, or have fever, they will go to the hospital.

After 55 days of no cases of infection in the community, on the morning of January 28, the Ministry of Health announced two new cases of infection, including a female worker in Hai Duong and a male airport security officer in Quang Ninh.

Thus, on January 28 alone, Vietnam recorded a total of 105 Covid-19 cases, of which 98 were community-infected cases in 3 provinces, 7 cases were immediately quarantined.
