Blockbuster ‘Insurgent’ adds many new warriors

Part two of the blockbuster series adapted from the best-selling novel Divergent, titled Insurgent, has a new director, Robert Schwentke – the German filmmaker most famous for his two sensational works Tattoo and Flightplan in 2005. Drama

Black actress Octavia Spencer, who won an Oscar for her role in the movie The Help, will appear in the film as a representative of a group of warriors.

7 other actors and actresses including Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale, beauty Suki Waterhouse, Jonny Weston, Stephanie Leigh Schlund, Daniel Dae Kim, Rosa Salazar, Emjay Anthony will also participate in the blockbuster in different large and small roles.

Adapted from a best-selling novel, the Different series belongs to the action and adventure genre with a bit of romance set in the distant future where the population is divided into 5 groups of people with different qualities and personalities.

In Insurgent, Beatrice Prior’s team must stop Jeanine’s plan: Using serum technology to turn the warriors of one division into minions for the plan to control all the remaining divisions.

After the success of last year’s first part film called Divergent with global revenue of nearly 300 million USD, the producers announced the sequels adapted from the series of the same name including Insurgent and Allegiant – Parts 1 & 2 projects

Insurgent is expected to be released in Vietnamese theaters on the same day as North America – March 20.
